What's in a name
What do you think of the traditional convention of giving children the father's last name? In recent years, I've noticed more and more couples giving their children both parents' last names connected by a hyphen. While hyphenating is one great option, there seems to be few instances of children being given the mother's last name, while married or as a single parent. Any opinions on this?

androstenedione
In 'The Female Brain' you give the pronunciation for androstenedione on p.54 and p.87. Page 87 is different from page 54. Which is the most common pronunciation? Thank you for the books. I wish they had been around 40 years ago,but in all likelihood I certainly wouldn't have read them then. I'm just starting 'The Male Brain' now and am curious to discover why I am the way I am.
