here is a recent useful paper from Arnold and McCarthy that updates our biological understanding of sex differences:They say:

Human males and sexual restraint?

What do you all think? I find it curious that the examples of lack of retraint by powerful men this past week are such a big surprise to anyone. (That doesn't mean they should get away with it or be able to abuse women in this way or that as a society we shouldn't have laws and punishments for those who violate--no matter how powerful)-- but is this really a surprise to anyone?…

Those who had unprotected sex were in a better mood because....well

So, study of the week: Dr. Lazar Greenfield, the (recent) president-elect of the American College of Surgeons referred to the research from the Archives of Sexual Behavior " which found that female college students practicing unprotected sex were less likely to suffer from depression...."
